This is a festival strictly for fun and does not yield any prizes, even when the largest snowman is built. If you are married, your spouse will also attend, giving you an extra person who can help. When the Mineral Town villagers are unlocked, Popuri and Karen will also attend. The same villagers attend every year so it is easy to focus on those specific friendships if you want to build the largest snowman. Less than 6 people will result in a small snowman, less than 11 people will result in a medium snowman and having 11 or more people help out will result in the largest snowman. The size of the snowman will depend on how many villagers you can convince to help you. When you are ready to build the snowman, speak to Gannon. If they have less than 5 hearts, they will decline to help and decide to watch instead. In order for a villager to help out they need to have 5 hearts of friendship or more. Or you could sell them and get about 2000 G.
If you upgrade it to Mystic/Gold while it is small, then you will need more of these rarer materials to upgrade the items size. You can attend by going to Meadow Island between 10am and 5:50pm.īefore speaking to Gannon to build the snowman, each villager in attendance can be spoken to and asked if they would like to help in the building of the snowman. If you leave them as lumber and increase them in size it will take more of your lumber which you could use to upgrade many of your structures or build barns.
